Broadcasting news need proper light and sound

I do agree with Angela Grant,a renowned multi media journalist that sound is nearly the most important part of any news video. She suggests that it would be more trouble than it’s worth to use your voice recorder to capture audio. This is because you’ll have to go back in post production and properly sync up the audio with the video. Otherwise you’ll get that poorly-dubbed-Japanese-kungfu-movie effect. You’ve got to spring for a tripod! Nothing says image stabilization better than these three-legged friends (tripod).

Lighting is also important for any news videography. On-camera light is perfect for interviews .According to her, unfortunately, there will be times you can’t use your light or it just isn’t doing much of anything for you. This is why more expensive, higher-quality video cameras are good: They can deal with low light situations much better than consumer-grade gear.
But at the same time, we should be cautious to cover a sensitive story-someone who has just lost his or her loved one or a accused person or one who has been an eyewitness to a tragedy. The question that a senior Journalist asks for himself is how do I do it and still retain my journalistic ethics.
Don’t ever shoot anybody without his or her permission-I agree with others that this strategy doesn’t apply to most other situations, but I myself apply this strategy where emotions are running high and the person whose visuals we want to take,is an ordinary person not a public figure.
